Privacy Policy

This policy explains what GroonAI collects, why, and what happens to it. GroonAI is operated by its developer. For anything in this policy, contact nuaieditor@gmail.com.
Signing in with Google
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. We use them only to create your account, sign you in, and show your name and picture inside the app. We never receive your Google password, and we do not read your contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data.
GroonAI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google account data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone outside the service providers listed below.
What else we collect
- A device identifier — a random identifier created on your first visit and stored in a cookie, so your credits and generations stay associated with you.
- Images and videos you upload and the images or videos generated from them.
- Usage data — pages viewed, templates opened, generations started and completed.
- Technical data — IP address, browser user agent, approximate country derived from IP.
- Marketing attribution — parameters in the link you arrived through, such as from, fbclid and utm_*.
- Payment records — pack purchased, amount, time, and a payment reference. Card numbers never reach us.
Why we use it
To run your account and keep your credits and gallery attached to it, to produce the generations you request, to take payments, to measure how the product is used, and to measure our advertising.
Who we share it with
- Google Firebase — authentication, database and file storage.
- Stripe — card payment processing.
- NOWPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing.
- Mixpanel — product analytics.
- Meta — we send advertising events, including a hashed identifier, through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API so we can measure our advertising.
- AI model providers who perform the generation itself.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone other than these service providers.
Where your files are stored
Uploads and generated files are stored in Google Firebase Storage under unguessable links. They are not listed publicly, and anyone you give a link to can open it.
Retention and deletion
- Your data is kept while your account exists. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
- Deleting a generation removes it from your gallery. The stored file is removed when your account is deleted, or earlier on request.
- Deleting your account and all your data: email nuaieditor@gmail.com from the address you signed in with. We delete your account, uploads, generations and usage data within 30 days. You can also revoke GroonAI's access at any time from your Google account permissions.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email nuaieditor@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a cookie to hold your device identifier, and browser storage for sign-in state, analytics and your marketing attribution. We do not use advertising cookies of our own, but the Meta Pixel may set its own.
